AEM Backend Developer

Experience - 3 to 5 years

Location – Bangalore

Core skills required- AEM, Java/J2EE, Sling, OSGi, JCR, Dispatcher configurations, and RESTful services.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Backend AEM Developer to join our team and contribute to the development and maintenance of enterprise-level web applications using Adobe Experience Manager (AEM). The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in backend technologies and a deep understanding of AEM architecture, components, and integrations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain AEM-based web applications and backend components.
• Implement custom AEM components using Sling, OSGi, and JCR.
• Integrate AEM with external systems using RESTful services and APIs.
• Configure and optimize AEM Dispatcher for caching and load balancing.
• Collaborate with front-end developers, architects, and QA teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Participate in code reviews, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
• Ensure adherence to best practices in coding, architecture, and security.
• Maintain documentation for code, configurations, and processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong programming skills in Java/J2EE .
• Hands-on experience with Apache Sling , OSGi , and JCR (Java Content Repository) .
• Proficiency in AEM Dispatcher configurations and caching strategies.
• Experience in building and consuming RESTful web services .
• Solid understanding of AEM architecture, workflows, and templates.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git), CI/CD pipelines, and Agile methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
