Visa Requirement: USC Salary: $100k/ per year Location: Tallassee, Alabama Position 1: Aerostructures Stress Analysis Engineer Key Skills – Stress Analysis Stress tools: HyperX / Sizer (Adon), Simcenter 3D Nastran, Patran, Aero structures Ability to perform stress analysis without tools (hand calculations) Job Description Minimum 5 years of experience in aerostructure analysis, including composite analysis Strong knowledge of primary and secondary aircraft structures and load behaviors Perform stress analysis for composite and metallic structures including: General strength and stiffness analysis Buckling and stability Fastener and joint strength Composite sandwich and thermoset panels Damage tolerance (open-hole strength, compression-after-impact) Experience with structural design concepts such as wingbox, load paths, and interfaces Finite Element Analysis using Nastran/Patran, Simcenter 3D (model creation, modification, post-processing) Preparation of stress reports, reserve factor s...
