Job Description
• Support AFS III - Automated Financial System on IBM Mainframe.
• Assist users in analyzing business system requirements and enhancements.
• Create program specifications and documentation for Corporate and Commercial Loan Application project releases.
• Analyze, design, code, test, and document applications using COBOL and CICS programming languages.
• Maintain JCL, VSAM files, maps, and copybooks used in batch and online loan processing.
• Code, test, debug, implement, and document programs and business processes. Develop unit and system test plans to verify the logic of new or modified programs.
• Design systems and programs to meet business needs. Prepare detailed specifications from which programs are developed and coded. Create appropriate documentation in work assignments.
• Gather information from existing systems, analyze program and time requirements. Prepare time estimates and justifications for assigned tasks and provide business process recommendations to project managers.
• Support project personnel in resolving program problems. Work with clients and management to resolve issues and validate programming requirements. Provide technical advice on complex programming.
• Provide leadership and work guidance, and conduct quality assurance activities.
• Provide consulting services in a technical and managerial capacity.
