We support older Australians with personalised care, meals, transport and guidance navigating programs such as Home Care Packages and the Commonwealth Home Support Program, enabling people to thrive, belong and live with dignity.
About the Role
We are currently looking for an experienced Aged Care Support Worker to join our team. Key duties will include:
- Providing personal care (showering, dressing, grooming, toileting) with dignity and privacy
- Supporting meal preparation and, where required, feeding assistance
- Delivering domestic assistance (cleaning, laundry, household tasks)
- Assisting with shopping, errands and transport
- Encouraging social interaction, community participation and companionship
- Following individual care plans and adapting support to changing needs and preferences
- Maintaining accurate service records and reporting changes in wellbeing
- Applying infection control protocols and correct PPE use
- Identifying home hazards and escalating to your supervisor
- Participating in meetings, supervision and mandatory training
- Working in line with Holdsworth Policies & Procedures, the Aged Care Code of Conduct, and Aged Care Statement of Rights
- Reporting incidents and hazards within required timeframes, including SIRS where applicable
