Agitator driver

The role

Hy-Tec currently has an opportunity for a Heavy Vehicle Driver to join our fleet of Agitator Drivers on a permanent full-time basis.

Based out of our Prestons site, you will load and deliver pre-mixed concrete to our customer sites.

In this position you will meet a diverse group of customers and no two days will be the same.

As an Agitator Driver you will ensure that customer orders are delivered safely, effectively and efficiently. If you already have a heavy vehicle licence, then we can offer training in all facets of being an Agitator Driver and pre-mixed concrete delivery. This is a great opportunity to gain specialised driving experience in a secure and growing industry.

Responsibilities

• Deliver concrete to clients' sites
• Manage concrete slump tolerance levels and the discharge of concrete
• Complete basic documentation
• Develop positive customer relationships
• Maintain the truck in a clean and tidy condition

About you

• As a minimum, hold a current HR drivers' licence and be able to provide a driver’s licence history check
• Have a positive work ethic and sense of integrity to allow you to work self-directed
• Be a reliable team player with a focus on excellent customer service
• Highly regarded – have relevant concrete or construction industry experience
