AGM (Customs & FTP) For a leading Manufacturing Brand

Roles and Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
Primarily responsible for ensuring full compliance with Customs, EXIM and Foreign
Trade Policy (FTP) regulations at PAN India and group level in coordination with
plants / business units’ Tax teams, EXIM – Logistics team, etc.
Build internal control for timely completion of provisional assessment, filing of appeal,
refunds, FTP claims, etc. Tracking of BoEs or shipping bills which are provisionally
assessed
Outline the requirement of Import / Export licenses, URN for Coal, Steel), etc for
the products imported / exported by the group.
Ensure customs /FTP benefits availed taken are in line with law and business model
of the group. Also ensure the HSN classification adopted for imported and exported
goods is correct.
Timely realisation of FTP benefits such as Duty Drawback, MEIS, RoDTEP, etc.
