Responsibilities
- AI Development & Integration
- Design and implement AI solutions using LLMs, Copilot Agents, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) techniques.
- Develop and maintain custom AI agents within the Microsoft environment for internal tools (, curated Copilot Agents, coordination agents) and client-facing applications (, ordinance code database agents).
- Integrate AI solutions with SharePoint, Azure Storage, and other enterprise systems.
- Build and deploy AI applications leveraging Azure AI Foundry, Azure AI, and related services.
- Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and optimized for the Azure cloud environment.
- Data & Knowledge Management
- Implement MCP (Model Context Protocol) for structured context handling.
- Develop RAG pipelines for efficient knowledge retrieval from internal and external data sources.
- Collaboration & GIS Integration
- Collaborate with business units to identify opportunities for AI-driven process improvements.
- Work with GIS teams to incorporate spatial data into AI workflows.
- Innovation & Best Practices
- Stay current with emerging AI technologies and frameworks.
- Advocate for responsible AI practices and compliance with data governance standards.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Data Science, Engineering or related field or experience.
- Proven experience in Python or C# development and AI/LLM frameworks.
- Hands-on experience with LLMs, AI agents, and RAG implementations.
- Strong knowledge of Azure AI services, Azure AI Foundry, and Azure Storage (preferred).
- Familiarity with SharePoint integration and enterprise application development.
- Understanding of GIS systems and spatial data workflows (preferred).
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Copilot Agents and Microsoft ecosystem integrations.
- Knowledge of MCP and advanced context management techniques.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Knowledge and experience with AI coding tools including custom configurations, instructions and extensions.
