AI Engineer

Location: Dublin (Hybrid: 2 days onsite, 3 remote)
Contract: Initial 6-month day rate (with potential extension)

Role Overview
My client, a Global Insurance Firm is seeking an experienced AI Engineer to design, develop, and deploy AI-driven solutions. You will work closely with data scientists, software engineers, and business stakeholders to build scalable, production-ready AI systems that drive automation, insights, and innovation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and deploy AI models and solutions for production environments

  • Build and maintain end-to-end AI pipelines, including data ingestion, preprocessing, and deployment

  • Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate AI capabilities into applications

  • Monitor model performance, retrain models, and optimize AI systems for reliability and scalability

  • Implement best practices in model governance, testing, and versioning

  • Conduct data analysis, feature engineering, and model evaluation

  • Document solutions and share knowledge with team members

    • Key Requirements

  • Proven experience as an AI Engineer or in a similar role

  • Strong programming skills in Python, R, or equivalent

  • Experience with AI/ML frameworks and libraries (TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn,

  • Familiarity with cloud AI platforms (AWS SageMaker, Azure AI, GCP AI Platform)

  • Knowledge of data pipelines, ETL, and databases (SQL/noSQL)

  • Experience with AI deployment, monitoring, and optimization

  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
