AI Project Specialist

Job Description
Insight Global i seeking a contract professional to support active AI initiatives and
help build Countywide capacity for responsible AI adoption. This role will coordinate
projects such as the Microsoft Copilot rollout and the AskAlex/AskDCo tools, and will
partner with County leadership to develop an AI Strategic Plan and an AI Steering
Committee that drives consistent practices and shared learning across departments.
Key Responsibilities
• AI Strategic Plan: Partner with County leadership to develop an AI Strategic
Plan, including goals, priority initiatives, roadmap, success measures, and
governance recommendations.
• AI Steering Committee: Design and stand up a Countywide AI Steering
Committee/working group with departmental participation; plan agendas,
facilitate meetings, capture decisions, and drive follow-through.
