Role Description
Role Title: Sales - Metal Cloud
Function: MetalCloud
Experience: 2–6 years
Location: Open (Kolkata/Pune preferred) with extensive travel to customer sites
Role Summary:
We are doubling down on AI-led digitization within the foundry ecosystem. This role will own the complete
sales cycle for MetalCloud’s AI modules—from market outreach to demo execution to commercial closure. You will shape how India’s foundries adopt AI for quality, testing, inspection, and production workflows.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Ownership & Deal Management
• Own the end-to-end sales cycle for all AI modules of MetalCloud—from lead qualification to negotiation and closure.
• Build account penetration strategies for enterprise and mid-market foundries to drive adoption velocity.
• Maintain strong CRM hygiene through timely updates of leads, opportunities, forecasts, and deal milestones.
AI Solution Demonstrations & Value Articulation
• Conduct high-impact demos of MetalCloud’s AI solutions to plant heads, QA managers, production leaders, and business owners.
• Clearly communicate business value—covering productivity, scrap reduction, cycle-time optimization, and decision automation.
• Collaborate with pre-sales to customize workflows, pilot structures, and customer-specific configurations.
Industry & Workflow Intelligence
• Build deep understanding of foundry workflows across quality inspection, metallurgy, testing, and production control.
• Identify digital transformation opportunities where AI can reduce defects, improve throughput, and standardize decision-making.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Work closely with the product and pre-sales teams to craft tailored proposals, pilot programs, and solution architectures.
• Share consistent on-ground insights to influence MetalCloud’s AI roadmap and future module development.
Target Achievement & Reporting
• Consistently achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
• Publish periodic updates on pipeline movement, deal velocity, and competitive intelligence to the leadership team.
Qualifications & Experience
• 2–6 years of experience in B2B SaaS sales, solution sales, industrial-tech, or digital transformation consulting.
• Strong ability to manage complex sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders.
• Proven track record of consultative selling and demo-led conversion.
• High comfort with manufacturing environments and technical conversations involving AI, automation, or inspection systems.
• Proficiency with CRM tools
• Graduate in Engineering, Business, or equivalent.
Good to Have
• Experience selling to manufacturing, automotive, or foundry sectors.
• Exposure to AI/ML-based enterprise products.
• Understanding of shop-floor workflows, NDT/DT processes, QA systems, or MES tools.
