AI Software Engineer

You’ll have the opportunity to work within our Information System & Digital team, contributing to the development of innovative solutions based on generative AI models, integrating them into scalable architectures, and bringing them into production. You will also be involved in building shared libraries and frameworks used by multiple teams, requiring a collaborative and sharing-oriented approach. Your ability to interface with business, understand project requirements, and actively contribute to the spread of GenAI culture within the organization will be key.

- Implement solutions in Python leveraging generative AI models

- Structure cloud projects based on serverless architectures, mainly on AWS

- Expose solutions via APIs, making them accessible to external systems and clients

- Manage CI/CD pipelines and use Docker for packaging and deployment

- Design and manage infrastructure as code (IaC) with Terraform

- Contribute to the development of shared libraries and frameworks for internal use

- Document solutions, share results, and contribute to the architectural evolution of the system

- Degree in Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, or related fields

- Proficiency in Python

- Proven experience in the use of generative AI models (e.g., prompt engineering, RAG) in real projects

- Familiarity with tools for managing embeddings and semantic search, such as Pinecone

- Experience in designing and implementing APIs

- Practical experience on AWS, especially with serverless services

- Experience with Terraform, CI/CD, and Docker

- Applied research mindset, experimentation, and rapid prototyping

- Ability to work in a team and contribute to shared solutions

- Availability for occasional travel to Milan or Bologna offices

- English good. Italian fluent or native.
