Responsibilities

・Develop and maintain AI strategies that support company goals and manage risks.

・Create and update AI policies (e.g., responsible AI, security, compliance) with legal and security teams.

・Manage the company’s AI projects: intake, prioritization, and tracking value.

・Prepare and lead executive meetings, including materials, decisions, and follow-ups.

・Track AI industry trends, summarize key points, and suggest actions.

・Manage external vendors when needed, including contracts and performance checks.

・Answer internal questions about AI strategy, policies, and best practices.


Qualifications

Must

  • 8+ years of full-time work experience.
  • Approximately 3+ years in strategy, corporate planning, or similar roles (consulting or enterprise planning).
  • Strong understanding of IT governance and policy formulation.
  • Excellent communication and document preparation skills.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Knowledge of internal promotion strategies for technology adoption.
  • Native level Japanese & Business level English
  • Preferred

  • Experience in consulting firms or corporate planning departments.
  • Deep knowledge of AI concepts—particularly Generative AI and LLMs—sufficient to evaluate opportunities and risks (implementation experience not required).
  • Experience working in multicultural teams.
  • Experience in vendor management and contract negotiation.
