Aircraft Certification Engineering Technician 1

Overview We are seeking a full-time Aircraft Certification Engineering Technician 1 in our Olathe, KS location. In this role, you will be responsible for providing engineering support for aircraft certification projects. Essential Functions Assists with setting up test equipment required for bench tests and ground tests on aircraft and assists with basic software loads to integration benches With mentoring, performs basic electrical and system troubleshooting of test equipment and benches Demonstrates flexibility by adjusting to fix issues that may arise regardless of the source of the issues, responds effectively to changes in direction, and accepts different assignments driven by changes in Garmin priorities Provides visibility/clearly communicates status of work to Engineers/Senior Technicians With mentoring/assistance, reads and executes simple schematics and layout drawings Assists in drafting simple system, component or assembly wiring diagrams with mentoring from engineering or ...
