Aircraft Composite Technician

• Perform composite repair, fabrication and modification using hand tools to produce aircraft products.
• Works with composites using pre-preg doing wet lay-ups.
• Works with resins, carbon fiber and honeycomb materials.
• Sands and grinds composite materials while wearing a full body suit.
• Correct aircraft discrepancies involving composite repairs.
• Bench assembles and installs composite components on aircrafts.
• Corrects discrepancies using information from engineering drawings, wiring diagrams or other documents as required.
• Uses manufacturing planning, written instructions, schematics, blueprints and other applicable technical data to repair, fabricate and modify composite structures.
• Uses appropriate stamp to sign off completed work to include manufacturing planning, inspection discrepancy records, product assurance records and appliable program documentation
• Maintain a clean, safe and healthy work area
• Other duties may be assigned

Job Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma in Engineering, preferably in Aerospace or relevant trade certificates
• At least 3 years of relevant working experience
• Preferred working experience on aircraft engines/airframe/components
• Excellent analytical, interpersonal, communication and problem-solving skills
• Advantage to have experience on commercial or and business aircrafts
• Able to commit rotating shift
