Amentum is hiring a qualified Aircraft Mechanic II / Corrosion Specialist in support of Kadena Air Base, 18th EMS.

Aircraft Mechanics II must have a combination of experience to identify and effectively repair corrosion related discrepancies. These include aircraft assigned weapon systems and ground equipment that involve aircraft interior/exterior assemblies, power train and general mechanical maintenance of moderate difficulty, aerospace ground equipment, and additional on/off equipment parts required to meet the assigned missions. Make repairs to aircraft and follow direction of higher graded Mechanics and Supervisors. This Aircraft Mechanic II position is a supervisory role that works with a small team in the performance of aircraft maintenance, inspections, and scheduled / unscheduled maintenance.
