Job Description
This is a pre-award opportunity located on Diego Garcia in the Indian Ocean.
The Contractor Airfield Manager (AFM) shall be responsible for the daily management of Diego Garcia airfield operations and insure operations comply with all DG, BIOT and USN regulations and instructions so that airfield operations are safe and functional 24/7, 365
days a year. The AFM shall advise the Government Air Operations Officer when to open or close the airfield to air traffic based on facility, personnel, or equipment capabilities. When an un-safe condition exists, the AFM shall immediately ensure the discrepancy is corrected or close the airfield to air traffic until the airfield is reassessed.

position of overall management responsibility for an airfield similar to or greater than Diego Garcia airfield operations along with experience working simultaneously in a multi-function base operat...
