Job Description

  • Design and 1st principle calculations for complete air intake systems, including ducts, filters, manifolds, and associated components.
  • Develop 3D CAD models and detailed drawings following company and industry standards.
  • Ensure optimal airflow performance, pressure drop, and acoustic quality through system-level design.
  • Interpret CFD analysis to evaluate airflow, pressure losses, and turbulence.
  • Interpret FEA analyses structural integrity, vibration, and thermal performance.
  • Collaborate with testing teams to plan and execute prototype builds.
  • Analyze test data (flow bench results, filtration efficiency, temperature/pressure measurements, etc.).
  • Refine designs based on testing feedback and validate compliance with specifications.
  • Work closely with powertrain engineers, vehicle packaging teams, suppliers, and manufacturing engineers.
