Job Overview:
ICFM is looking for an experienced and knowledgeable Algo Trading Trainer to train students and working professionals in algorithmic trading. The ideal candidate should have strong practical exposure to algo strategies, trading platforms, and programming concepts used in financial markets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver classroom and practical training on Algorithmic Trading concepts
- Explain end-to-end algo trading workflow: idea → strategy → backtesting → deployment
- Train students on strategy building, backtesting, optimization, and live execution
- Teach programming basics relevant to algo trading (Python preferred)
- Demonstrate usage of trading APIs, platforms, and tools
* Provide real-time market examples and case studies
* Resolve student queries and provide mentoring support
* Assist in curriculum development and updates as per market trends.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of Algorithmic Trading & Quantitative Strategies
- Hands-on experience with live or paper trading algorithms
- Proficiency in Python (mandatory)
Familiarity with:
- Backtesting frameworks
- Broker APIs (Zerodha, Angel, Upstox, etc.)
- Trading platforms
- Solid understanding of Indian Stock Market, Derivatives, and Risk Management
- Prior teaching or mentoring experience is preferred
Experience
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience in Algo trading or quantitative trading
- Training or teaching experience will be an added advantage
