Mandatory – experience in MM and EWM, or experience in MM and strong knowledge of EWM, who can support us in the implementation project and assist with the end-to-end testing process.
Key Responsibilities:
Overall experience of 8-10 years
Lead the fit-gap analysis of MM processes and configuration between multiple SAP systems.
Design the to-b state for MM processes (Procure-to-Pay, Inventory Management, etc.)
Configure the SAP MM module in System A to accommodate the merged business requirements, including organization structure, master data settings, purchasing, inventory management, and invoice verification.
Develop and execute a comprehensive data migration strategy for all MM objects, including data extraction, cleansing, transformation, mapping, and loading.
Create and manage detailed cutover plans for the MM module to ensure a smooth transition with minimal business disruption.
Develop and execute comprehensive test scripts for unit, integration (SIT), and user acceptance testing (UAT).
Work closely with business stakeholders, data owners, and cross-functional teams (FI, SD, PP, WM/EWM) to ensure seamless integration.
Provide post-go-live support, troubleshoot issues, and ensure stabilization of the new, unified MM processes.
Hands-on experience with at least one major SAP system merger, or large-scale data migration project.
Deep understanding of the data migration lifecycle: data analysis, mapping, mock-loads/testing, and cutover execution.
Specific experience migrating core MM objects:
Master Data: Material Master, Vendor Master, Purchase Info Records, Source Lists, Service Masters.
Organization Structure: Plants, Storage Locations, Purchasing Organizations/Groups.
Purchasing (MM-PUR): Document Types, Number Ranges, Release Strategies, Pricing Procedures, Account Assignment Categories.
Inventory Management (IM): Goods Movements, Physical Inventory, Reservations, Number Ranges for Material Documents.
Logistics Invoice Verification (LIV): Tolerances, Automatic Postings, Invoice Blocking.
Master Data Configuration: Material Types, Field Selections, Vendor Account Groups.
Strong understanding of MM integration points with other modules, particularly:
FI/CO: Automatic Account Determination (OBYC), Material Valuation, G/L Accounts, Cost Centers.
SD: Stock Transport Orders (STO process), Availability Check (ATP).
PP: MRP, BOMs, Production Order Goods Movements.
WM/EWM: Understanding of how IM integrates with warehouse-managed locations.
Ability to conduct workshops, perform fit-gap analysis, and map "as-is" vs. "to-be" business processes.
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills to resolve complex configuration, data, or process issues.
Experience with processes like Subcontracting, Consignment, Inter-Company STOs.
Experience with SAP Workflow for release strategies.
