Job Title:

Project Manager – Automation Bot Migration

Project Context:

This role will lead the migration of RPA automation bots from Citrix-hosted VDIs to AWS EC2 instances, ensuring seamless integration with existing infrastructure. The project involves multiple phases including assessment, design, migration, validation, and optimization, with a strong focus on security, compliance, and high availability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Planning & Execution




• Drive end-to-end delivery of the migration project as per defined milestones and timelines.


• Collaborate with the Infrastructure Project Manager to ensure alignment on AWS EC2 deployment and legacy integration.




• Stakeholder Management




• Coordinate with automation teams, infrastructure teams, and business units to ensure smooth execution.


• Communicate progress, risks, and dependencies to leadership and stakeholders.




• Technical Oversight




• Ensure reuse of existing infrastructure and orchestrator licenses (UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Power Automate).


• Oversee integration with Active Directory, monitoring tools (SCOM, Dynatrace, CloudWatch), and orchestrator connectivity.




• Security & Compliance




• Enforce encryption (at rest and in transit), RBAC, and compliance standards (GDPR, HIPAA if applicable).




• Risk & Issue Management




• Maintain risk register and proactively mitigate project risks.




• Performance & Quality




• Validate latency requirements (<200ms) and ensure high availability and BCP strategies.




• Documentation & Reporting




• Maintain project documentation, dashboards, and provide regular status updates.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Proven experience in IT project management, preferably in cloud migration or automation projects.


• Strong understanding of AWS services (EC2, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch) and RPA platforms
  (UiPath, Automation Anywhere).


• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, GitHub integration, and security best practices.


• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.


• PMP or equivalent certification preferred.

Key Deliverables:

• Successful migration of bots from Citrix VDI to AWS EC2 within agreed timelines.


• Compliance with security and governance standards.


• High availability and disaster recovery setup for migrated bots.
