All Rounder Operator

Reporting to the Team Lead Mining, the successful All Rounder Operator will be required to:

• Operate various mining machines which consists of predominantly Cat 6020B and EX3600 Excavators, Cat Graders 16M and 18M, Cat Dozers D10T & D10T2 & D11 & 854K wheel dozer, Cat Dump Trucks 777F/G & 789 and Cat Water Carts 777F
• Dozer task - consist of Floor clean ups to dig RL, Drill pattern preparation, Waste dump pushing and keeping RL correct and Clearing topsoil areas
• Grader task - maintaining haul roads (able to keep camber and Crown on roads), Pit haul roads and running track maintenance and Drill pattern preparation
• Excavator task – Backup operator as required, in a production environment
• Dump Truck task – Hot seating is performed on site or fill in when short staffed

Requirements to be successful in this role are:

• Minimum C class drivers’ license
• Current National Police Clearance (No older than 6 months)
• Significant experience operating the above machinery in an open pit production mining environment.
• Strong commitment to following health, safety and environment policies and procedures.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills and high attention to detail.
