Alternative Fuels Manager

Located in Edmonton or Delta, BC, our client is a leader in their industrial space. They are looking for a new role for their business as it grows, to add an Alternative Fuels Manager to the business.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategy to increase the use of alternative fuels and raw materials to support decarbonization and CO₂ reduction targets.
• Identify, source, permit, and implement alternative fuels and materials from concept through plant use.
• Evaluate local waste streams and develop the most cost-effective supply chains versus landfill or waste-to-energy options.
• Collaborate with internal teams, suppliers, contractors, and regulators to enable sourcing, treatment, delivery, and compliance.
• Manage permitting, compliance, and contracts related to alternative fuels and materials.
• Track market developments and identify new low-carbon fuel and material opportunities, including biomass.
