Key Responsibilities


Tendering & Techno-Commercial




  • Prepare and review technical and commercial bids for turnkey substation projects (AIS/GIS) and loose equipment.




  • Interpret tender documents, SLDs, switching schemes, and substation layouts.




  • Conduct cost estimation, BOQ verification, and prepare proposal documentation.




  • Coordinate with engineering, design, procurement, and finance teams for pricing and compliance.




  • Participate in pre-bid meetings, technical clarifications, and customer discussions.




  • Analyze competitor pricing and prepare competitive techno-commercial offers.




Project Marketing (Domestic & International)




  • Identify project opportunities across India and international markets.




  • Build and maintain strong relationships with consultants, EPC contractors, utilities, and industrial clients.




  • Conduct market intelligence, gather project insights, and track upcoming tenders.




  • Promote company capabilities in substations, transmission & distribution, and electrical systems.




  • Support end-to-end bid-to-order cycle and ensure timely submission of proposals.




Sales & Business Development




  • Drive business acquisition for substation EPC and loose equipment.




  • Ensure lead conversion through follow-ups, client interaction, and negotiation.




  • Prepare technical presentations, commercial proposals, and marketing material.




  • Support cross-border business development activities and partner coordination.




Documentation & Coordination




  • Maintain bid trackers, customer databases, and tender summaries.




  • Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors for quotations and technical alignment.




  • Prepare MIS reports, win/loss analysis, and risk assessment for tenders.




Required Skills & Experience




  • 4–10 years of experience in tendering, estimation, techno-commercial, or project marketing within the power T&D/substation industry.




  • Strong knowledge of:




    • Turnkey substation projects (AIS/GIS)




    • Switching schemes




    • SLDs & substation layouts




    • Electrical equipment (breakers, transformers, isolators, control panels, etc.)






  • Experience in international bidding is an advantage.




  • Ability to convert bids into orders through strong commercial understanding.




  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).




  • Knowledge of French language is preferred for African market coordination.




Educational Qualification




  • B.Tech / B.E. Electrical (preferred)




  • Diploma in Electrical Engineering with strong experience may be considered.
