Key Responsibilities
Tendering & Techno-Commercial
Prepare and review technical and commercial bids for turnkey substation projects (AIS/GIS) and loose equipment.
Interpret tender documents, SLDs, switching schemes, and substation layouts.
Conduct cost estimation, BOQ verification, and prepare proposal documentation.
Coordinate with engineering, design, procurement, and finance teams for pricing and compliance.
Participate in pre-bid meetings, technical clarifications, and customer discussions.
Analyze competitor pricing and prepare competitive techno-commercial offers.
Project Marketing (Domestic & International)
Identify project opportunities across India and international markets.
Build and maintain strong relationships with consultants, EPC contractors, utilities, and industrial clients.
Conduct market intelligence, gather project insights, and track upcoming tenders.
Promote company capabilities in substations, transmission & distribution, and electrical systems.
Support end-to-end bid-to-order cycle and ensure timely submission of proposals.
Sales & Business Development
Drive business acquisition for substation EPC and loose equipment.
Ensure lead conversion through follow-ups, client interaction, and negotiation.
Prepare technical presentations, commercial proposals, and marketing material.
Support cross-border business development activities and partner coordination.
Documentation & Coordination
Maintain bid trackers, customer databases, and tender summaries.
Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors for quotations and technical alignment.
Prepare MIS reports, win/loss analysis, and risk assessment for tenders.
Required Skills & Experience
4–10 years of experience in tendering, estimation, techno-commercial, or project marketing within the power T&D/substation industry.
Strong knowledge of:
Turnkey substation projects (AIS/GIS)
Switching schemes
SLDs & substation layouts
Electrical equipment (breakers, transformers, isolators, control panels, etc.)
Experience in international bidding is an advantage.
Ability to convert bids into orders through strong commercial understanding.
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Knowledge of French language is preferred for African market coordination.
Educational Qualification
B.Tech / B.E. Electrical (preferred)
Diploma in Electrical Engineering with strong experience may be considered.
