AMM Author 2 To 9 years Bangalore

Key Responsibilities

  • Collect and analyze source data including engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
  • Author or revise Aircraft Maintenance Manuals (AMM) in compliance with Airbus Technical Specifications.
  • Ensure documentation aligns with standards such as ATA100, iSpec2200, S1000D, and ASD-STE100.
  • Collaborate with engineering and technical teams to interpret airframe and systems data.
  • Guarantee quality and timely delivery of authored content.
  • Maintain version control and traceability using Airbus documentation tools.

Primary Skills

  • Strong experience in authoring AMM for Airbus programs: SA, LR, MB, XWB.
  • Proficiency in handling Airframe and Systems ATA chapters.
  • Hands-on expertise with Airbus tools:
  • GIPSY
  • GIDOCA
  • SAP
  • ZAMIZ
  • DACAS
  • PDMLink
  • Deep understanding of engineering drawings and specifications.

Secondary Skills

  • Familiarity with documentation standards:
  • ATA100
  • iSpec2200
  • S1000D
  • ASD-STE100
  • Strong attention to detail and quality assurance.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Good communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • AME/Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Technical Communication, or a related field.
  • 2-9years of experience in technical authoring within the aerospace domain.
  • Certification in ASD-STE100 or S1000D is a plus.
  • Experience working with Airbus documentation tools and platforms.
  • Knowledge of aircraft systems and maintenance procedures.
