(AM/PM) Dietary Aide-Casual positions

Overview

Reporting to the Food Service Manager, this position will perform duties as per the Dietary Aide Profile, and as a fill-in will focus on duties around: preparing food including special diets, assisting the cook in food preparation, delivery of food and supplies to households, and assisting with daily dishes and kitchen cleaning. Must be able to work weekends.

Qualifications

• Food Service experience an asset
• Food Safety Course
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time
• Be an active listener who projects a friendly, problem-solving approach and demeanor
• Good organizing, planning, prioritizing, time management and multi-tasking skills
• Proven experience in taking personal responsibility for seeking information from various sources enables others’ learning through sharing experiences, coaching, and mentoring
