Key Responsibilities:

Test Strategy & Planning

Define and implement the test strategy for data pipelines, ETL processes, reporting dashboards, and analytics models.

Collaborate with data engineers, BI developers, and business analysts to understand data flows, transformation logic, and reporting requirements.

Develop detailed test plans, test cases, and test data for functional, regression, integration, and UAT phases.

Execution & Coordination

Lead execution of manual and automated testing across:

Databricks notebooks and Spark jobs

Informatica ETL workflows

SQL-based data validation

SSIS packages and SSRS reports

Coordinate with offshore teams and ensure timely delivery of test cycles.

Track and manage defects using tools like JIRA, Azure DevOps, or ALM.

Automation & Tools

Implement automation for data validation and regression testing using Python, PySpark, or SQL scripts.
