Overview

Come develop technology solutions that solve planetary scale problems in the Analog Devices Battery Management Systems (BMS) business unit. The electric vehicle and green-energy revolution is here, and we are changing the world with our industry leading battery monitoring technology. The automotive Battery Management Systems (BMS) group at Analog Devices develops ultra-high performance instrumentation ICs that measure battery cell voltages and currents in and around the high-voltage battery pack of electric vehicles. Our products provide highest measurement accuracy while preserving strong robustness at high voltage and are typically implemented in HV BCD technology, with feature sizes between 180nm and 90nm. We use industry-standard tools for mask design.

Job Responsibilities

This is an excellent opportunity to join a high performing team, working on the design of the next generation of automotive BMS chips. Our challenge is to get highest precision analog designs into mass production in an automotive environment. The designs the industry’s highest precision battery monitoring technology and other differentiated analog and digital components, developed in high voltage and advanced technology nodes. The Analog Design team is responsible for breaking down system level requirements into design specifications, architecting and designing analog signal chains & subsystems, doing transistor level analog circuit design and simulations, doing block-level and system-level modeling and simulations, delivering blocks that meet timing, area, and performance requirements, as well as supporting post-silicon validation and debug.
