Analog Electronics Design Engineer (m/f/d)

As a part of the Electronic Systems department at OHB you will be responsible for designing and testing electronic units for satellites. Our electronic units are processing high-resolution image data and sensor signals, controlling high precision motors, actively reducing mechanical vibrations and more. If you like to go unpaved paths, master the challenges of new requirements and find long-lasting solutions operating in harsh space environments, join our team. Your Tasks

  • Design
    of electronic circuits for multi-channel, high-resolution and high-speed analog
    signal acquisition chains for optoelectronic detectors, vibration, temperature
    and position sensors
  • Design
    of precision analog electronics with challenging long- and short-term stability
    and signal to noise requirements
  • Verification
    of the performance of your circuits by simulation for worst case, part stress and
    signal integrity analysis
  • Specify
    and supervise PCB layouts for multi-layer and rigid-flex High-Rel. PCBs
  • Test
    your circuits in the lab and under extreme conditions during qualification /
    acceptance tests
  • Co-engineering
    with other disciplines mechanical design, radiation engineering, EEE
    engineering, manufacturing and FPGA design

    • Your Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Electronics Engineering or a related field
  • + 5 years of professional experience in the design and verification of high
    performance mixed signal electronics preferably in the space industry
  • Profound
    theoretical and practical background in the design and analysis of analog electronics
    ( Amplifiers, Filters, ADCs)
  • Experience
    in electronics design according to applicable ECSS Standards
  • At least one programming language suitable for circuit simulations and automated test set-ups (MATLAB, Phyton, C/C++)
  • Application
    of ECAD design and simulation tools (Mentor PADS professional, Spice, HyperLynx)
  • Excellent communication skills and fluency in English, both written and spoken
