Mechanical Analysis Engineer
Location - Bangalore
Required experience - 3-5 years
Required education - BE / Masters - Mechanical Engineering or a related field
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform static and dynamic calculations for complex electromechanical systems, starting from the early concept phase of new product development
- Conduct structural analyses — analytical and numerical (FEA) — for mechanical components, including stress, deformation, fatigue, vibration, and thermal assessments
- Optimize system-level designs with a strong focus on lightweight construction and cost efficiency
- Continuously improve analysis, calculation, and measurement methods, tools, and workflows
- Scout and evaluate new technologies, methods, and tools relevant to mechanical analysis and product
- Support design development and optimization through simulations and measurements
- Define and create test matrices for durability, vibration, and weaving-related tests
- Perform vibration and other experimental measurements on prototypes and test rigs
- Prepare analysis reports and measurement documentation for internal and external stakeholders
- Support failure analysis and root-cause investigations of components and systems
- Collaborate closely with design, manufacturing, purchasing, and testing teams in an international environment
- Contribute to cost-optimization initiatives across the product lifecycle
Desired Experience:-
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in a comparable mechanical analysis or simulation role
- Strong analytical background, particularly in strength of materials, vibration analysis, multi-body dynamics, and systems engineering
- Solid programming skills, preferably in Python, for automation and data analysis
- Very good knowledge of finite element analysis (FEA), preferably using Ansys
- Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to collaborate effectively across disciplines and clearly convey complex technical concepts
