Financial Analyst

You will work closely with our CFO team to help deliver unparalleled financial leadership to our clients through reporting, dashboarding, and ad-hoc analysis. You will be assisting with the finance functions of multiple companies across multiple industries. You will have a high amount of autonomy, managing many of your own tasks and clients, all while working remotely


Responsibilities 


  • Conduct financial analysis, forecasting, and budgeting for multiple small to medium sized businesses 

  • Develop and maintain financial models and reports, and analyze financial data to identify trends and opportunities 

  • Collaborate with management teams to develop financial plans and strategies that align with business objectives 

  • Monitor and report on financial performance, highlighting any significant issues or trends 

  • Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports 

  • Provide ongoing support and guidance to management teams, including answering financial-related questions and providing financial analysis as needed 

  • Participate in ad-hoc projects as required 

  • Help our CFOs prepare for client calls by providing analysis and models to be reviewed 



Qualifications

  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze complex financial data and identify trends and opportunities 

  • Highly proficient in Excel (comfortable with data sets, using formulas) 

  • Basic or greater understanding of database and data structure 

  • Tech savvy 

  • Basic or greater understanding of accounting (cash vs. accrual, income vs. cash flow) 

  • Proficiency in financial modeling and forecasting techniques 

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written 

  • BS/BA in Accounting or Finance is preferred, 

  • Experience with QuickBooks Online is a bonus 

  • 3+ years of experience in a Finance related role
