Analyst, Software Engineer

As aniOSsoftware engineer/developerat Panera, youhave the opportunitytojoin a company with several digital e-commerce channels,an extensivebrick-and-mortar infrastructure, and endless problems to solve and optimize,all organized in a way that lets every person feeltheir impact onboth their immediate team and the company. You will be building new and exciting features, working with 3rd-party vendors, both large and small,andcollaborating with a first-class team of developers, product managers, and designers.

Additionally, the senior analyst position canimpacttheiOSdevelopment team byrepresentingthem in highly technical meetings, translating requirements into technical documents, and guiding the team. 

This positionis based in Newton,Massachusetts, or St. Louis, MO.

Roles and responsibilities

  • Lead technical discussions. Analyze requirements.Identifygaps. Evaluatethepros and cons of multiple solutions. Provide feedback and suggestions as to how to best implement solutions. 

  • Manage scope and propose MVP versions to reduce time-to-market and maximize/optimize benefits. 

  • Meet with business partners to understand feature requirements and help translatetheminto feature storiesthrough theSAFe/Agileframework. 

  • Introduce industry standards and best practices in architecture and software engineering. 

  • Meet with cross-team architects to understandsystems' implicationsand propose the solutions that best represent the business needs. 

  • Evaluatenew technologiesand assess how they could integrate and complement our current infrastructure.

  • Face challengeshead-on and advocatefor best practices and process improvements.

  • Implement and champion good practices. 

  • Coordinate with service teams toserve asa partial influencerinmicroservice implementation and integration. 

  • Integrate with boththe product and design teamsto elevate the user experience of the PaneraiOSapplication.

  • Coordinate with the development team to manage business expectations. 

  • Responsible forregularly deploying high-quality, crash-free, working software to production. 

  • Communicate to management when status changes or deadlines could beimpacted. 

  • Prioritize and resolve bugs and defectsimpactingcafes, features, and user experience.

  • Competitive Pay $86,033 to $120,466 annually.

    The actual pay offered will be determined by multiple factors, including but not limited to the candidate’s relevant experience, job-related knowledge, skills, and geographical location. Individual compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate.
