Key Responsibilities
At least 5 years of experience in designing and developing Data Pipelines & Assets.
Must have experience with at least one Columnar MPP Cloud data warehouse (Snowflake/Azure Synapse/Redshift) for at least 3 years.
Experience in ETL tools like Azure Data factory, Fivetran / DBT for 2 years.
Develop and maintain analytics-ready data assets, taxonomies, and hierarchies that power BI dashboards, provider insights, and the Insights Hub.
Partner with BI Developers, Data Analysts, and Tech Product Analysts to translate business and product needs into well-structured data models and semantic layers.
Create and optimize dbt transformations and Snowflake data marts that support standardized KPIs, reusable metrics, and consistent reporting.
Support Data Intelligence outcomes by ensuring accuracy, reliability, and timeliness of curated data for downstream analytics and visualization.
Collaborate with product and business stakeholders to define metadata, lineage, and business definitions, embedding them into DI workflows.
Ensure data quality, reconciliation, and validation processes are in place to improve trust and adoption of Insights Hub deliverables.
Document solution flows, mappings, and knowledge artifacts, enabling transparency, governance, and reusability across the DI team.
Participate in Agile processes (sprint planning, backlog grooming, reviews) to deliver DI priorities with clear business alignment.
Contribute to data governance initiatives, including the creation of controlled vocabularies, KPI catalogs, and reusable templates.
Stay current with healthcare data standards and regulatory needs (HIPAA, ACA, CMS) to ensure compliant, domain-aware DI solutions.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
Self starter & learner
4–6 years of experience in data modeling, analytics engineering, or BI-enablement roles.
Proficiency with Snowflake and dbt for developing analytics-ready datasets and reusable transformations.
Strong skills in SQL for creating data marts, KPIs, and optimized queries.
Working knowledge of data governance concepts (lineage, cataloging, controlled vocabularies).
Exposure to BI tools (Sigma BI, Power BI, Tableau) and an understanding of how semantic data layers fuel dashboards and insights.
Familiarity with Agile tools (Jira, Confluence) and collaborative workflows.
Strong documentation, communication, and requirement-gathering skills to align technical outputs with DI outcomes.
Experience working with large, complex datasets in cloud data ecosystems.
Preferred Qualifications
Domain experience in US Healthcare data, especially provider networks, credentialing, and reimbursement models.
Knowledge of healthcare data standards (ICD-10, CPT, HL7, NPI).
Familiarity with data quality frameworks and building KPI/metric catalogs for analytics.
Understanding of data privacy and compliance (HIPAA, ACA, CMS) and ability to embed these requirements into DI workflows.
Strong collaboration skills to work across business, product, and technical stakeholders.
