Job Title: Analytics Engineer – Google Cloud

Location: Hyderabad

Budget: Open to discuss



We are looking for an Analytics Engineer to build transformation layers on Google Cloud. You will own the ELT pipeline from raw data to analytics-ready datasets using Dataform or dbt with BigQuery for enterprise clients.



Technical Skills Required (6-8 of the following):

  • Dataform for native BigQuery transformation workflows
  • dbt-bigquery adapter for transformation projects
  • BigQuery SQL: CTEs, window functions, MERGE, scripting
  • Incremental models, snapshots, and slowly changing dimensions
  • Dataplex data quality rules and Data Catalog tagging
  • SQLX and JavaScript in Dataform for reusable transformations
  • Data modeling: staging, intermediate, and mart layer patterns
  • Git-based version control and CI/CD for transformation projects



Experience:

  • 3+ years in analytics/data engineering with at least 1 year on BigQuery
  • Delivered 2+ Dataform or dbt projects with 50+ models in production
  • Clear communication skills for client interactions and technical documentation
