Analytics engineer – google cloud

Job Title: Analytics Engineer – Google Cloud

We are looking for an Analytics Engineer to build transformation layers on Google Cloud. You will own the ELT pipeline from raw data to analytics-ready datasets using Dataform or dbt with Big Query for enterprise clients.
Technical Skills Required (6-8 of the following):
- Dataform for native Big Query transformation workflows
- dbt-bigquery adapter for transformation projects
- Big Query SQL: CTEs, window functions, MERGE, scripting
- Incremental models, snapshots, and slowly changing dimensions
- Dataplex data quality rules and Data Catalog tagging
- SQLX and Java Script in Dataform for reusable transformations
- Data modeling: staging, intermediate, and mart layer patterns
- Git-based version control and CI/CD for transformation projects
Experience:
- 3+ years in analytics/data engineering with at least 1 year on Big Query
- Delivered 2+ Dataform or dbt projects with 50+ models in production
- Clear communication skills for client interactions and technical documentation
