Role Overview

We are looking for an Android Security Specialist to join the XDP business unit at Barclays. This role is dedicated to enhancing the security posture of our Android applications through the implementation of robust identity and access management (CIAM) frameworks.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Identity Integration: Lead the implementation of Ping/ForgeRock SDKs for Android, ensuring consistent and secure authentication flows across the platform.
  • Protocol Implementation: Work on the client-side implementation of Crypto Protocols as defined by the CISO, ensuring high-performance execution.
  • Networking & Security: Utilize OkHTTP and other standard libraries to ensure secure data transit and certificate pinning.
  • Secure Storage: Manage the lifecycle of security keys using the Android Keystore and biometric authentication (Fingerprint/Face).
