Key Responsibilities:
" Desing and implement HMI layers and features on Android Automotive/AOSP.
" Develop and customize Android applications, services and components.
" Work with the design team to provide suggestions or changes.
" Interface with middle ware and HAL components for vehicle data.
" Optimize performance, memory usage and boot time for HMI applications.
" Debug and resolve issues related to the implemented and yet to implement HMI apps.
" Collaborate with cross functional teams including platform, QA, design and customer.
Required skills:
" Strong development experience in Android Framework, AOSP and Android SDK.
" Proficient in Java and Kotlin. " Experience with HMI architecture in automotive IVI projects.
" Knowledge on Android application lifecycle, services, broadcast and content providers.
" Experience with Git and Android Soong & Gradle build system.
" Understanding of Vehicle HAL (VHAL) in Android Automotive.
" Knowledge on CAN/LIN
" Familiarity with performance profile tools, logcat, ADB and system debugging tools.
Soft skills:
" Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
" Good communication and collaboration stills, with the cross functional teams.
" Ability to work independently in a fast-paced evolving environment.
Education:
" Bachelor's / master's degree in computer science, electronics or related engineering discipline
