Position Summary:

Candidate should be able to drive design and implementation of Android Application and System HMI related work. Should ensure to design, code and test Android applications) based on Android guidelines on Android based devices. Collaborate with a team of developers, designers, testers and architects to ensure that each application is presentable and in perfect working order.

  • Responsible from requirement analysis till realization of the functionality in Android HMI domain.
  • Responsible to develop different component in Android Automotive System
  • Experience in HMI Development in Automotive Infotainment Project will be added advantage
  • Is responsible for multiple component ownership for Android HMI development
  • Delivery of the software for software Integration
  • Ensure the implementation of defined test strategies and document the achieved results.
  • Ensure pre-integration testing and verification for the functional area and its features.
  • Ensure traceability, consistency of requirements and feature maturity
  • Defect triaging and resolution
  • Work with other domains for the resolution of dependencies on features and defects


    • Mandatory Skills:

  • Automotive knowledge is mandatory.
  • 5+ years of experience in Android Application and HMI development
  • Hands on experience in Android SystemUI feature.
  • Expert in Android Application development and integration on embedded platform
  • Willing to learn Android Framework and Automotive IVI domain.
  • Strong in Core Java and OOPs Concepts
  • Good understanding of Android Binders
  • Exposure to Android Components like Activity, services, broadcast receivers and content providers
  • Expertise and working knowledge in one or more domain are mandatory in Android SYSTEM at APPLICATION LAYER

    • Good to Have

  • Good in data structures.
  • Exposure to concepts of JNI. Experience in interfacing Java and Native layer modules through JNI.
  • Proficient in multi-threaded programming and middleware solution development on Android environment. Strong in fundamentals of IPC and OS concepts
  • Experience with configuration management (GIT) or similar SW management tools are beneficial
  • Kotlin and Unit test framework will be added advantage.

    • Basic Qualification

  • Bachelors/Master’s degree in Engineering.
  • Experience: 5+ Years Good experience in the development of Android Application
