Animator – Music Video Project

Overview

This role is for a creative stop-motion animator to craft a visually compelling music video for an original track, running 4 minutes and 46 seconds. The project centers on a cat character, used symbolically and narratively to mirror the song’s lyrics and emotional tone. The animation should be expressive and atmospheric, with movement, texture, and pacing closely aligned to the music. The visual style should be artistic and tactile, drawing inspiration from established stop-motion works, but open to various techniques such as paper cut-outs, objects, or mixed media, provided the result is cohesive and emotive. Creative direction, including lyrics, themes, and emotional intent, will be provided to guide your work. The final video must be suitable for YouTube and social media release, and the project can be completed remotely.
