Opportunity:

Advanced Practice - Nurse Practitioner - Urgent Care, Physician Assistant - Acute Care, Physician Assistant - Urgent Care, Physician Assistant - Family Practice, Physician Assistant - Emergency Medicine

Job Details:

  • Provide urgent care services to adult and pediatric patients (6 months and up)

  • Handle high volume patient care with up to 40 patients per day average

  • Perform minor procedures including I&D, laceration repair, ear irrigation

  • Work as the sole provider in the center with support staff

  • Use Epic electronic medical record system for all patient visits

  • Must have at least 12 months of experience treating adults and pediatrics

  • Board certification required (NCCPA for PAs, appropriate certification for NPs)

  • BLS certification and NC DEA license required

  • No call requirements

  • Must complete required EMR training and onboarding prior to first shift

  • Support staff includes Center Manager, Medical Assistant, Patient Service Associate

  • Supervising physician provided for APPs (offsite)
