Overview

Application Analyst Job Description: The Application Analyst is responsible for providing resolution to customer issues that come in via phone or email that cannot be resolved on the first pass.

Responsibilities

  • Identifying issue trends: The Application Analyst is the first person to identify an issue once it's been validated as a true issue. They are responsible for troubleshooting if an issue is recurring or isolated.
  • Working interdepartmentally: Depending on the type of issue, the Application Analyst may need to work with EDI on file transmission, configuration consultants, and Account Managers to help resolve reported issues.
  • Problem solving: The Application Analyst should be able to analyze issues accurately to create a logical and effective course of action for issue resolution.
