Job Description:
Daily Responsibilities:
+ Assess technical feasibility: architecture, scalability, and security of the current CAS system.
+ Examine operational alignment: support for cadet workflows and Commandant, Academic, and Athletic departments.
+ Review interoperability: integration with Banner, Canvas, My Citadel Portal, and health systems.
+ Analyze user experience, adoption, and training needs.
+ Evaluate economic feasibility: total cost of ownership (TCO) and ROI compared with alternative systems.
+ Analyze exiting codebase and provide recommendations, timeline, and roadmap for modernization or replacement.
+ Work with cross-functional teams on complex projects
+ Present and prepare reports
+ Assign appropriate priorities to work activities based on organizational goals and situational pressures
+ Effectively plan and communicate work activities and deadlines
Required Skills:
+ 3+ years of experience with C#
+ 3+ years of experience with Microsoft SQL
+ 3+ years of experience gathering and documenting project requirements
Preferred Skills:
+ Familiarity with front end web technologies such as React, JavaScript, and Material UI
+ 3+ years of experience analyzing existing code and creating modernization plans.
+ Familiarity with 3rd party data integrations using REST API’s and SQL extracts.
