Job Description


Position Summary: The Application Developer (Working Team) is responsible for providing maintenance, support, and enhancement of DESE's critical applications and supporting databases. This role collaborates closely with DESE subject matter experts and ITSD staff to analyze requirements, develop and modify application and database code, perform unit and system testing, resolve production issues, and prepare solutions for deployment. The developer manages and documents work through Azure DevOps, supports SSRS reporting, adheres to State security and development standards, and ensures timely resolution of critical, major, and minor issues in accordance with established service level expectations.
Minimum Requirement: Experience working in a fast-paced, data-driven IT environment at a State government agency or equivalent organizational level. Experience Requirements:
