Overview
Amyx is seeking a Software Developer to support our DLA Energy contract in a remote capacity. The Developer will assist a dynamic technical team in the design, development, and sustainment of applications and subsystems that support DLA Energy’s mission operations.
Responsibilities
Provide expertise in sustainment lifecycle management for programs and project operations.
Formulate and define specifications, design, code, test, debug, and document software applications.
Participate in the design of reusable software tools and subsystems to enhance efficiency and domain analysis.
Collaborate with analysts and designers to research and document user requirements and system objectives.
Translate technical requirements into detailed program specifications.
Develop and maintain system documentation, SOPs, and technical guides for users and support staff.
Modify and document program code to correct errors or expand application capabilities.Conduct application testing and prepare reports on system performance and maintenance.Must have the ability to communicate accurate informationTechology used:

Required:
Experience with the full software development lifecycle, including sustainment and modernization activities.Knowledge of application design, programming, testing, and documentation standards.Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.NACLC and IT-II eligibility.Experience with , SQL, C#, java, and other programming languages.Experience with secure development practices (. STIG, OWASP) and DevSecOps.Agile/Scrum background.5+ years of programming experience.Willingness to work in a collaborative environment.Desired:
Security+ CE (IAT II) and computing environment certifications (Microsoft, Oracle, or ability to obtain within 60 days of start.DoD experience.Benefits include:
