Overview

Amyx is seeking a Software Developer to support our DLA Energy contract in a remote capacity. The Developer will assist a dynamic technical team in the design, development, and sustainment of applications and subsystems that support DLA Energy’s mission operations.

Responsibilities

  • Provide expertise in sustainment lifecycle management for programs and project operations.
  • Formulate and define specifications, design, code, test, debug, and document software applications.
  • Participate in the design of reusable software tools and subsystems to enhance efficiency and domain analysis.
  • Collaborate with analysts and designers to research and document user requirements and system objectives.
  • Translate technical requirements into detailed program specifications.
  • Develop and maintain system documentation, SOPs, and technical guides for users and support staff.
  • Modify and document program code to correct errors or expand application capabilities.
  • Conduct application testing and prepare reports on system performance and maintenance.
  • Must have the ability to communicate accurate information

  • Qualifications

    Required:

  • Experience with the full software development lifecycle, including sustainment and modernization activities.
  • Knowledge of application design, programming, testing, and documentation standards.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
  • NACLC and IT-II eligibility.
  • Experience with , SQL, C#, java, and other programming languages.
  • Experience with secure development practices (. STIG, OWASP) and DevSecOps.
  • Agile/Scrum background.
  • 5+ years of programming experience.
  • Willingness to work in a collaborative environment.
  • Desired:

  • Security+ CE (IAT II) and computing environment certifications (Microsoft, Oracle, or ability to obtain within 60 days of start.
  • DoD experience.
