Summary

The Vista platform team is looking for a developer to help move reporting out of the transactional database and into a reporting database for both our Crystal and SSRS Reporting Services.

Specific deliverables:
• Modify application server installer to allow for setting values for a reporting database
• Modify the Vista Client Service to create transactional and report server data sources
• Add the report server location to the application’s configuration.
• Modify SSRS Report installer to allow for establishing a reporting database.
• Modify the Vista application to be able to designate reports that run against the transactional database.
• Modify the Vista application such that reports run against the appropriate database: Reporting/ Transactional
