The Application Engineering (AE) Manager is responsible for leading and developing the AE team to deliver high-quality technical support and application solutions. This role bridges customers, sales, and headquarters by ensuring effective technical engagement, talent development, and alignment with HIOKI’s product and business strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, manage, and develop the AE team, including training, and performance management
- Define AE strategies and priorities aligned with sales and business objectives
- Provide technical leadership and escalation support for complex customer applications
- Partner closely with sales, marketing, and HQ product teams to support business growth
- Oversee pre-sales and post-sales technical activities, including demos, evaluations, and troubleshooting
- Ensure consistent technical messaging, documentation, and application standards
