Sales & Application Support
- Responsible for providing technical support, selecting suitable instruments and components to meet the customer's requirements and specifications
- Supporting Sales team by engaging customers to evaluate application possibilities, calculate and design vacuum systems by proposing suitable technical solutions.
- Handling sales inquiries and generating proposals / quotations relating to vacuum pumps & systems
- Act as the single point of contact for technical clarifications for customers, contractors, and distributors.
- Track and report quote activities and participate in Monthly Reporting process.
System Design & Execution
- Responsible for the engineering, fabrication and performance of small and medium vacuum systems
- Accountability for the cost of fabrication, supervising the fabrication work, the performance output and theon-time delivery to the customer.
- Supervise and provide necessary guidance to the system technician to execute system assembly involving pipefittings, valves, instruments, skid frames, control panel and up to testing and painting.
- Be responsible for Final Acceptance Testing (FAT) in system production facility and Testing & Commissioning (T&C) at customer site.
- Coordinate with factory, outsource vendors and sub-contractors and create G.A. Drawing, P&ID etc. using 3-DSolidWorks.
- Clarify with customers where necessary to resolve unclear requirements
- Coordinate with Order Admin tea on shipment update and information to delivery
- Training of customers in systems operation as required.
- The scope of territorial support includes Singapore, Indonesia and the Philippines.
Job Requirements
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Process Technology or Chemical Engineering is preferred.
- 2 years of working experience in application engineering and sales support.
- Experience in systems design can be an advantage but not mandatory.
- Competent in the use of 3-D SolidWorks and AutoCAD
- Proficiency and exposure towards mechanical equipment is needed for this role.
- Basic understanding of Electrical systems and mechanical construction.
- Project management experience will be an added advantage.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to engage with diverse internal and external stakeholders (eg. EPC, Consultants, etc.).
Ability to analyze commercial aspects is an advantage. - Dynamic, self-driven, motivated and hardworking individual with an attitude to learn and advance.
