This position is with our Adhesive Technologies business unit – where we empower our people to transform industries and provide our customers with a competitive advantage through adhesives, sealants and functional coatings.

What you´ll do


  • Collaborate
    with the Applications Engineering (AE) team in Santa Clara to support
    advanced electronics applications
  • Optimize
    dispense patterns and parameters to improve process efficiency and product
    performance
  • Assist in
    the creation and expansion of a large dataset for the core structural
    bonding portfolio
  • Support
    the evaluation and implementation of new dispensing equipment and
    technologies
  • Work
    closely with the Product Development team to develop and execute DOE's based on different applications and adhesive requirements
  • Participate
    in regular customer visits and technical discussions to gather feedback
    and support application development


What makes you a good fit


  • An undergraduate student graduating in 2027 or 2028 pursuing a degree
    in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical
    Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Chemistry, Environmental
    Science, Biology, Physics, or Mathematics

  • Hands-on
    lab experience gained through academic laboratory courses
  • Proficiency in
    statistical analysis for interpreting experimental data
    and identifying trends

  • Strong
    problem-solving abilities with a methodical and analytical approach

Additional information


  • This
    internship is NOT eligible for a housing stipend or relocation
    support. 

  • Henkel’s
    Summer 2026 internship program starts on May 27th, 2026, and runs through
    mid-August.  

  • Recruitment
    for our 2026 internships starts in late August 2025 and runs through early
    March 2026 or until all our positions are filled.

The
salary for this role is $22-$27/hour. This is the range that we in good faith anticipate relying on when setting wages for this position. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range. This salary range may also be modified in the future.
