Role: Application Packaging and Patching Management
Location: Mexico City, Guadalajara, Monterrey & Queretaro
Work Mode: Onsite
Requirement:
Tool Utilization
Expected to leverage all packaging tools currently in use, including but not limited to:
- Admi Studio
- PowerShell App Deployment Toolkit (PSADT)
- Intune Win32 packaging
- Microsoft Endpoint Manager (SCCM/Intune)
- JAMF (for macOS/iOS)
- Recast (RightClick Tools)
Core Responsibilities
1. Application Packaging
- Create and maintain standardized, enterprise-ready application packages.
- Ensure compatibility with supported OS versions and endpoint configurations.
- Leverage tools such as AdminStudio, PowerShell App Deployment Toolkit (PSADT), and Intune Win32 packaging.
- Maintain a centralized app catalog with version control and lifecycle tracking.
2. Software Deployment
- Distribute packaged applications using Microsoft Endpoint Manager (SCCM/Intune) and Jamf.
- Support both push and self-service deployment models.
- Monitor deployment success rates and remediate failures proactively.
3. Security Patching
- Apply monthly Windows OS, macOS, iOS and third-party application patches using tools like SCCM, Intune, and Jamf.
- Prioritize CVEs based on severity and business impact.
- Validate patches in test environments before production rollout.
- Track compliance metrics and generate audit-ready reports.
4. Patch and Package Governance
- Maintain a patching calendar aligned with Microsoft Patch Tuesday and internal change windows.
- Document packaging standards, testing protocols, and rollback procedures.
- Collaborate with cybersecurity and infrastructure teams to align on risk thresholds and remediation SLAs.
- Conduct quarterly reviews of packaging and patching performance and backlog.
