Introduction

Join our dynamic team as a skilled ETL Developer, where you will play a crucial role in supporting production and project work in the GTS Data space. You will have the opportunity to propose strategic solutions, lead projects, and collaborate with diverse teams to drive innovation and efficiency.



Required Skills & Qualifications


  • 10 years of overall ETL and data warehousing development experience.

  • Experience with Big Data technologies such as HDFS, Spark, Impala, Hive, and/or Informatica Power Center.

  • Proficiency in Oracle databases with the ability to write and understand SQL.

  • Working knowledge of Linux, including the ability to write and understand basic shell scripts.

  • Experience with data movement and transformation technologies as well as strong troubleshooting and data analysis skills,



Preferred Skills & Qualifications


  • Proficiency in Python, shell scripting, or other programming languages.

  • Experience with AutoSys job scheduling.

  • Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.



Day-to-Day Responsibilities


  • Analyze requirements and design solutions for ETL processes.

  • Implement solutions using Informatica, Hadoop, PL/SQL, Linux scripting, and other technologies.

  • Provide L3 production support, analyzing issues to determine root causes and propose solutions.

  • Collaborate with front-line support and other technology teams to address issues.

  • Engage in discussions with the information architecture team to propose new technology adoption ideas.

  • Participate in project meetings and coordinate with various support teams.
