Application Specialist

Overview

Business Unit Automation is the home of AutoMine, the world-leading autonomous mining solution, and Newtrax, a leader in collision avoidance and operations management for underground mining, as well as Universal Field Robots (UFR), a fast-growing Australia-based provider of autonomous interoperable solutions for surface and underground mining markets. Our hubs are in Tampere (Finland), Montreal (Canada) and Brisbane (Australia). We focus on developing automated and robotic mining technologies for mobile machinery and safety solutions up to collision avoidance system (CAS) Level 9, aiming to make mining safer and more sustainable. We work with Sandvik Mining and Rock Solutions sales areas to serve customers globally with high levels of service and support.

We are looking for a dynamic and energetic Application Specialist, Global Automation Services . The position is permanent, based in Tampere, Finland and reports to the Operations Manager.
